Jenny Friedman
Jenny Friedman, Ph.D., is founder and executive director of Doing Good Together™ (DGT™), a Minneapolis-based non-profit organization that empowers families to raise children who care and contribute. She has written more than 100 articles on issues of parenting, child development and education for local and national magazines, including American Baby, Parenting and Parents. She wrote The Busy Family’s Guide to Volunteering, a comprehensive resource describing hundreds of volunteer projects for families, published by Robins Lane Press in 2003. She coauthored Doing Good Together: 101 Easy, Meaningful Service Projects for Families, Schools and Communities (Free Spirit Publishing, 2010), a compendium of family-friendly service activities that can be done on-site at schools, workplaces and congregations.
