Peter Rubens
After 20 years in the Wine Industry, Peter Rubens’ first mid-life crisis occurred in Manhattan on 9/11/2001. That day combined with changes in his personal life fueled a search to be of service to others beyond Napa Valley. This led to AT HOME CAREGIVERS, founded in 2004. In the last decade it has become a leading North Bay Home Care Agency. Rubens has devoted time and resources to serving the larger aging community: first as a member of the Board of Directors of Senior Access, later he founded and lead the Marin Home Care Collective, a group of more than 30 companies dedicated to educating families, consumers and referral sources about Home Care. He is a member of the Home Care Association of America and an ardent supporter of Whistlestop, the leading Agency in Marin dedicated to serving Seniors at Home. For more than 20 years Peter and his blended family of five children and beloved dogs reside in Novato. He married for the last time in July, 2015.
