Susan Steele
Susan Steele is a seasoned Global Chief HR Officer who advises C-Suite leaders on workforce strategies that increase revenues, enhance profitability, expedite process efficiencies and create sustainable organizational change. Susan, an Executive Partner in IBM’s Global Talent & Engagement Center of Excellence, had held Chief HR Officer, Chief Learning Officer and Chief Recruitment Officer roles at WPP, Deloitte and Linklaters. Her early career was in P&L leadership roles at investment banks JPMorgan Chase and HSBC and with the NASDAQ/PHLX derivatives exchange. Susan is a frequent commentator on the evolving nature of the workplace and the importance of employee experience design. She has been interviewed by Forbes and The Economist and chaired CHRO roundtables and conferences. Born in the US, Susan has spent more than 50% of her life living abroad; she has worked in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Americas and speaks fluent French.
