Dianna Grayer


Dianna L. Grayer, a Marriage and Family Therapist with a practice in Petaluma, counsels children, teens, adult, couples, and families. In 1979, she earned her Bachelor’s degree from SFSU; in 1993, her Master’s degree in Counseling from SSU; and in 2010, her Ph.D. in Psychology from Meridian University where she is now a faculty member. Besides creating self help materials to promote personal growth, she fostered 30 kids, taught Independent Living Skills to adolescent youth, co-taught fost/adopt parenting classes, co-hosts her own radio show, Living Proof, on KRCB in Sonoma County with her wife of 38 years, and has published 8 books. Dianna writes and performs with Sisters Rising, a spoken word, rap, music, and drumming group dedicated to help empower women and stop the violence toward women and girls. Dianna wrote her LGBTQ play, Private Lives Private Lies, 10 years ago. She is directing and producing this play and is thrilled to see it come to life.
