Dr. Jorge Corona


Jorge Corona M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist subspecializing in oculoplastic and orbital surgery. He graduated from Universidad La Salle, School of Medicine in Mexico City with honors. After an internship in general surgery at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, he completed his ophthalmology residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock and his fellowship in oculoplastic and orbital surgery at McGill University in Montreal. Dr. Corona is a clinical assistant professor at Texas Tech University Health Science Center and a volunteer clinical faculty at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He served as an oculoplastic surgeon at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Big Spring, TX before joining Oculoplastic Associates of Texas in 2007. He has volunteered with Helps International in Guatemala since 2011 and has gone on other medical humanitarian trips to Mexico and China.
