Don Swogger


Don Swogger is the Director of the SAFE Office on campus and advises the BURG Peer Education Network. During his 25 year tenure at Frostburg State University, he has been regionally and nationally recognized several times for his leadership contributions to prevention and peer education. Don received his M.Ed at Frostburg State University and has conducted numerous trainings, presentations and workshops over the past 30+ years. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member to the Department of Kinesiology and Recreation and developed one of the IDIS courses on campus. Don also serves as a varsity coach, mentor, men’s group leader, husband and father. The favorite part of his job is mentoring and motivating students.
