Dr. Pepper Schwartz


Pepper Schwartz is Professor of Sociology at the University of Washington in Seattle. Her B.A. and M.A. are from Washington University in St. Louis where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Her MA/ Ph.D. are from Yale University.
She is the author & co-author of 25 books. The Normal Bar: the Surprising Secrets of Happy Couples and Ten Talks with Parents about Sex and Character were on the New York Times best-seller list.
Her most recent books, published in 2015 are 50 Great Myths about Human Sexuality (Wiley) and Snap Strategies for Couples (Seal Press, Perseus). She has been profiled the mass media outlets such as USA Today, and Newsweek. She co-wrote columns on sex and health for Glamour magazine for 8 years.
She helped create the dating web site Perfectmatch.com, is a sexuality adviser for WebMD, AARP's Love, Sex and Relationship Ambassador and is one of the three experts on the hit A&E/FYI television show "Married at First Sight".
