Sharron SK Williams is founding attorney and director of JINA Immigration Legal Services (JILS), a non-profit organization that provides mobile immigration legal services to low-income individuals in the Northern California region. Sharron handles immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions, naturalization applications, family-based petitions, and re-entry permits for both corporate and noncorporate clients throughout the U.S. and abroad. Her practice also includes asylum, self-petitioners under the Violence Against Women Act, Special Immigrant Juvenile petitions on behalf of unaccompanied immigrant children, trafficked individuals, immigrant victims of crime and religious worker petitions. Before being an attorney, Sharron was involved in human rights advocacy. She is originally from Belize and is a member of the Garifuna ethnic group. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Garifuna and has a working knowledge of Swahili and French.
