Lori Middlehurst
Lori Middlehurst is director Asia Pacific Employment Law at VMware - based in Sydney, Australia. She is the trusted adviser to vice president of HR APJ and provides advice on employment issues for 6000 employee-region in 16 countries across Asia Pacific: hiring, termination, performance management, investigations, redundancies and layoffs, M&A, contractor issues, opening new offices, policies and programs, IP, discrimination & harassment, training of managers and HR.
She has held senior positions at Accenture, Hewlett Packard, and Sun Microsystems.
She is a current member of ACC-ACLA NSW executive board; ACC-ELLC International Subcommittee co-chair; currently working with Justice Connect to establish company in-house pro bono program; and is a mentor for female law students from UNSW.
She received a bachelor's degree from UC San Diego and a JD from UC Davis School of Law.
