Jane Velez-Mitchell
Jane Velez-Mitchell is the founder and editor of JaneUnChained.com, a multi-platform social media news channel producing hundreds of widely shared videos on animals rights and veganism. This past June, Jane launched #LunchbreakLIVE, a daily live vegan cooking show on Facebook at 12:30pm Pacific/3:30pm EST on Facebook at facebook.com/JaneVelezMitchell.
Jane is the winner of four Genesis Awards from the Humane Society of the United States for her reporting on animal issues. For six years she hosted her own daily show on HLN (CNN Headline News) where she did a weekly animal segment.
Velez-Mitchell also reported for the TV show Celebrity Justice, where she did numerous animal stories. Prior to that Jane was a news anchor/reporter at KCAL-TV in LA and WCBS-TV in NY.
Jane is the author of four books, including two New York Times bestsellers: “Exposed: The Secret Life of Jodi Arias” and “iWant: My Journey from Addiction and Overconsumption to a Simpler, Honest Life.”
