Peg O'Connor, PhD
Peg O’Connor is a Professor of Philosophy and Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies at Gustavus Adolphus College (St. Peter, MN). She is the author of Life on the Rocks: Finding Meaning in Addiction and Recovery. She writes a blog about philosophy and addiction, “Philosophy Stirred Not Shaken” for psychologytoday.com. She is also a regular contributor to the Pro Talk series at rehabs.com. Peg is a recovering alcoholic who believes that philosophy helped her to get and stay sober.
