James George Janos, better known by his stage name "Jesse Ventura," is a former pro-wrestler, actor, political commentator, and Governor of Minnesota. Ventura was the first and only member of the Reform Party to win a major governmental position. Prior to his election as Governor, Ventura served as Mayor of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. As Governor, Ventura oversaw reforms of Minnesota's property tax, the state's first sales tax rebate and the construction of the Metro Blue Line light rail in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area. His most recent book entitled, Marijuana Manifesto, was a bestseller on The New York Times bestseller list.
