Diane M. Bassett


Diane M. Bassett is a writer and a fierce child advocate from Longview, Washington. Growing up, she traveled with her family as an Air Force "brat" and still loves to travel. Diane is an author with a Criminal Justice degree, is certified as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), and trained as a Truancy Board member, and brings her unique perspective on life to her writings. Her recent book, 17 Hours: Tracking Down Our Runaway, is a first-person rendition of her experience with sex-trafficking and her runaway daughter for which she received the Colorado Independent Publishers Association Award EVVY Award.
