David Burfoot


David Burfoot has a Masters Degree in Policy Studies from the University of New South Wales and has worked for organizations as diverse as the United Nations, Deloitte, Government anti-corruption agencies and not-for-profit community-based organizations. He is an award winning program and policy manager who has tackled some of the most intractable social problems in Australia, Africa and Europe. David’s awards include: social and economic reconstruction programs for the United Nations Development Program, anti-slavery initiatives in the Congo, Streetwork projects for refugee youth, and governance and anti-corruption projects in Australia. He is passionate about creative approaches to social justice, governance and the ‘big questions’.
