Lou Bilancia
Mr. Bilancia is an electrical engineer and ESI Senior Staff Consultant with 17 years of experience in fire origin and cause evaluations, including those where electrical activity may have been involved. He has performed more than 800 fire and electrical investigations.
Mr. Bilancia also has an additional 26 years experience in biomedical design of implanted pacemakers and defibrillators, the design and programming of industrial controls, microelectronics, and precision electronic instrumentation.
He has been an adjunct professor at Portland State University and an instructor to the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI) community in electrical evidence collection and the scientific method.
