Dr. Wayne Johnson
A graduate of University of Connecticut Medical School, Dr. Wayne Johnson completed a residency in Family Practice from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1997. After completion, Dr. Johnson set up shop, starting his own medical practice on Hilton Head Island, SC, where he, his wife of 28 years, Michelene, and his 14-year-old daughter, Chloe continue to reside joyfully.
He has a passion for mental health, believing that anxiety is contributing or is becoming the biggest health problem our country faces. He is Board Eligible, after completing a fellowship in Age Management and Functional Medicine from the American Academy of Age Management Medicine. Dr. Johnson's practice has evolved into an atypical wellness model, addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of health and wellness for every one of his patients.
