Dan Deuel

Dan Deuel is the Chairman of Legislative Affairs for the Utah Chapter of National Parents Organization. NPO is the nation’s largest shared parenting advocacy organization (nationalparentsorganization.org). Dan’s professional background is in Information Technology, but for the past 8 years he has volunteered his time to do what he jokingly calls it "Lobbying for Liberty” in his state legislature. He is a trusted and respected advocate for a range of issues and is highly regarded for his work and expertise furthering the cause of family law reform in his state. He volunteers as a private citizen, and has built a reputation for being respectful, reasonable, and principled. Lawmakers in his state often look to him for advice on family law policy and consult with him prior to acting on proposed legislation. He is a happily married father of two wonderful children. He enjoys the outdoors. When he's not in the office or at the State Capitol you can find him outdoors with his family and dog.
