Don Robinson


Donald G. Robinson is the Special Agent in Charge of the National Center for Explosives Training and Research. Robinson has been in this position since June 2013, and oversees a staff of 13 supervisors and approximately 100 special agents, bomb technicians, chemists, canine trainers and administrative staff in support of ATF’s explosives and arson training, enforcement, and research programs. Robinson began his career with ATF in 1987, and has previously served as Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the Philadelphia Field Division, Director of the U.S. Bomb Data Center, Group Supervisor in Baltimore Field Division, Program Manager and Branch Chief of explosives training in ATF Headquarters. He also served for 12 years as a certified explosives specialist and a member of ATF’s National Response Team. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from West Chester University and a master’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama.
