Richard Rabbat
Richard Rabbat, Gfycat’s CEO, is a software engineer with a PhD from MIT. Prior to Gfycat, he was VP of Gaming and Ads at the messaging platform Tango. He was General Manager at game developer Zynga (the creators of FarmVille) and previously worked as a Product Manager on Search at Google. Richard has deep experience with advertising and with monetizing consumer content. He oversaw Gfycat’s growth from garage project to 80 million MAU, with 3 million creators having created 30 million GIFs.
