Loriane Liebenberg, Save Our Rhino

In 2009 after two rhino were poached in the Krugersdorp Game Park, a Facebook search about rhino poaching would have come up empty. Appalled by the cruelty and torture afflicted on these animals, Save Our Rhino, the first such FB group was born to bring attention of the increase of poaching to the public. Their mission is education, research, sourcing latest news about wildlife crime and conservation and getting the information out to the world. They do not collect funds, rather they endorse and promote, collaborate and partner with many legitimate organizations. Trained as an occupational therapist, Loraine Liebenberg, married 40yrs, 3 grown children and grandmother. Deeply connected to animals and nature, her true passion began when her family moved to Gauteng almost 25 years ago.Since then she’s taken every wilderness walk in Kruger, visited Serengeti, the Masai Mara and Lower Zambezi in Zambia. https://www.facebook.com/groups/saveourrhino/
