Martha Gulati, MD, is the first Division Chief of Cardiology for the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and Physician Executive Director for the Banner – University Medicine Cardiovascular Institute. She is the author of the best-seller, “Saving Women’s Hearts” and the Editor-in-Chief of the American College of Cardiology “CardioSmart.” Dr. Gulati is passionate about the study of women and heart disease and about the prevention of heart disease. Her exceptional commitment to the study has won her numerous awards and distinctions, including receiving the first CREDO Award and in 2012, she was awarded the National Red Dress Award.
