Jimmy Pollard
Jimmy Pollard is a special education teacher and healthcare administrator who has worked with families touched by dementia and cognitive decline for 30 years. He is the author of “A Caregiver’s Handbook for Advanced Stage Huntington’s Disease” which has been published by HSC as well as societies in six other countries; and “Hurry Up & Wait! A Cognitive Care Companion for Huntington’s Disease,” which has been translated into eight languages by national and provincial HD associations around the world. He works as a consultant for the CHDI Foundation and speaks on a wide range of topics related to HD and dementia at support groups and conferences across Canada and the United States.
