Dr. Lindsay Gibson


Dr. Lindsay Gibson has been in private practice doing individual psychotherapy for over thirty years. She has both a Masters and Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, and has served as an adjunct assistant professor teaching doctoral students in clinical psychology for the College of William and Mary and Old Dominion University. Dr. Gibson's first book was Who You Were Meant to Be: A Guide to Finding or Recovering Your Life's Purpose, and her latest book is Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents: How to Heal from Distant, Rejecting, or Self-Involved Parents. In her practice, she specializes in working with people whose depression, anxiety, and relationship problems have their roots in unsupportive and demoralizing relationships with their emotionally immature parents.
