Kristen Dillon, PsyD


Kristen Dillon, PsyD specializes in Geropsychology and currently works as the Hospice and Palliative Care Psychologist at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital (Bedford VAMC). She obtained her doctoral degree from William James College and completed her residency in Gerospychology at the Bedford VA. Dr. Dillon helps Veterans and families navigate the difficult and complex stressors that accompany terminal illness.
She provides individual, family and group therapy focusing on coping with illness, adjustment, anticipatory grief and bereavement. She is a strong proponent of interdisciplinary care and was featured in the April 2016 edition of the APA Monitor on Psychology. Dr. Dillon also supervises practicum, intern, and resident level trainees in the Geropsychology Training Program. Her other interests include: existentialism, bereavement, anticipatory grief, caregiving, older adults, and Veterans.
