John MacInnes
John, a native Calgarian began his earlier years in education at Strathcona Tweedsmuir School and finalized that education in Economics at Bishop’s University in Quebec, Canada. Early on John recognized his entrepreneurial sprit and financed his post-secondary education by founding and managing two successful companies. Upon John’s return to Calgary, he was employed in commercial real estate and then transferred to Mavest Inc., assessing the suitability of a wide variety of businesses for equity investment. Upon his decision to make an entrepreneurial change, in 1999, John founded Print Audit, a developer for remote printer monitoring and management, that is still operational today providing services in 10 countries. Print Audit’s success lead to John being recognized in 2010 as Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.John also is a member of several professional associations, deeply involved in his community and married to his wife Dawn of 14 years, and father to his son, Bayne.
