Doug Allen
Doug Allen retired as a Division Chief with 32 years of service in the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CALFIRE). He was the Southern California Law Enforcement Coordinator for CALFIRE, coordinating the Southern Arson Investigation Unit and Civil Litigation program. Chief Allen specializes in the analysis and profiling of "Serial Arsonists". Allen has investigated and/or supervised the investigation of over 100 serial arsonists. All of the 100 arsonist were adjudicated. He has been an investigator, technical ad visor and Incident Commander on numerous Law Enforcement Investigations and Surveillance Operations throughout California.During one thirteen month period Chief Allen coordinated 107 sworn personnel on eight major arson investigations in Southern California. These operations resulted in the apprehension and conviction of eight serial arsonists and the clearance of over 600 arson cases.
