Melanie Jones
Melanie Jones has always been a performer & artist. She first started out as an internationally known pop/rock drummer touring throughout the United States; Hawaii and Alaska. As co-leader of the all-female R&B/funk group, Taboo, she toured extensively. Later, Melanie performed and toured throughout the So. Pacific and Fiji with the renowned group, Motherlove. She has toured, explored and/or performed as a musician in more than 20 countries. During the past 10 years, Melanie discovered a passion for photography which has led her to many successful art shows & gallery showings.
Just recently Melanie discovered an alter ego by the name of Jesse Jones. Jesse Jones has become one of Palm Springs very first Drag Kings. Stepping out into the drag community in September 2016, Jesse Jones has performed in several top drag shows in Palm Springs, Ontario and Long Beach, CA. and has already won numerous talent competitions.
