Cheryl Krauter
Cheryl Krauter, MFT is an existential humanistic psychotherapist with over 35 years of experience in the field of depth psychology and human consciousness. She integrates her experience as a depth psychotherapist with her personal journey as a cancer survivor. Cheryl began working with people in various stages of a cancer diagnosis after her own experience. She advocates for humanizing cancer care by attending to the need for the emotional healing of a cancer diagnosis. Her book, Surviving the Storm: A Workbook for Telling Your Cancer Story was released by Oxford University Press in March 2017 and she is currently working on a second book on humanizing healthcare for clinicians. A former board member of the Women’s Cancer Resource Center, she has presented numerous talks and workshops on living with the uncertainty of life-threatening illness.
