Declan Zimmermann

Recent creative obsessions include navigating the transition from freelancer to agency principal, and educating the next generation of animators at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. He has previously directed theater, independent film and even live TV at a home shopping network.
His avid explorations of photography, storytelling, songwriting and performance have contributed to the breadth of expertise he brings to narrative and visual problem solving.
When he’s not trekking in Patagonia or hiking a glacier in Iceland, Declan contributes articles on the art and adventure of freelancing for the Freelancers Union Blog.
