Mike Ritz
Mike Ritz became LRI's Executive Director in Nov, 2009.
In a volunteer capacity, Mike was appointed by the Department of Defense as the RI State Chairman for the Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve (ESGR) in 2012. Accepting a second term as state Chairman, Mike simultaneously served as the Chair of the Executive Advisory Subcommittee and, within the first year, successfully spearheaded the evolution of the subcommittee into the first Board of Directors with charter and bylaws, as adopted by all 54 Chairs of every state and territory, within the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) since Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve's creation in 1972. In this new structure Ritz was elected Strategic Vice Chair for the remaining two years of his final term. Recently, Mike became a founding member of the Providence Cultural Equity Initiative.
