Rebecca Roveto


Rebecca Roveto is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. She currently works within the special education department at a middle school in Silicon Valley where she is the staff therapist for a Theraputic Day Class for students with emotional barriers to school, a Special Day Class for students with mild/moderate autism and students who receive counseling as part of their IEP support services. She also has a private practice in Santa Cruz, California. As a therapist, Rebecca has worked in community mental health with women in a state run welfare to work rehabilitation program, in addictions with non-violent drug offenders, and in a community counseling center. Rebecca has a bachelors of Arts in Sociology from UC Santa Cruz and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Holistic Studies from John F. Kennedy University. She is currently a scholar in Stephen Jenkinson’s Orphan Wisdom School and is a board member of The Child Therapy Institute in Berkeley CA.
