Dr. Michelle Peticolas is a national speaker and expert on the topics of loss, emotional wounding and unresolved grief. She has a Ph.D. in Sociology and Psychology from Indiana University where she received a National Institute of Mental Health Fellowship. Producer of the award-winning 3-part documentary series, Secrets of Life and Death, she has been invited to present at professional organizations throughout the country, including UCSF, JFK University, UC Berkeley, John Muir, The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, and The Commonwealth Club of SF. She was awarded 3 grants from the Lloyd Symington Foundation to bring her films and workshops to the cancer community. Through her unique program, Transform Your Grief and Thrive, she empowers leaders and practitioners overcome overwhelm and stress by releasing trapped emotional wounds and limiting beliefs.
