Bryan Jobe
I have been employed with the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department since March of 2001. Currently, I am a detective assigned to the Bomb and Arson Section. One of my primary duties is the handling of one of our department’s single purpose explosives detection canine. I began my assignment with Bomb and Arson in December of 2015. My prior assignments include Homicide, Drug Enforcement, Street Narcotics and Patrol. Prior to coming to Kansas City I was employed with Haskell County, Kansas Sheriff’s Department from 1993 to 1996. While employed with the sheriff’s department I worked with Sublette, Kansas Volunteer Fire Department as a fire fighter and with the Sublette, Kansas Emergency Medical Service as a volunteer emergency medical technician. Working as a volunteer fire fighter is where my initial interest in arson investigation began.
