Ken Simpson
Ken Simpson is currently in his “third career” as a podcaster, blogger, author and speaker about risk, Business Continuity and resilience.
Over the past 30+ years he has worked as a manager and leader in both public and private sector organisations. During his “first career” as an employee he led internal Risk, DR and BCM teams, held Executives roles as CIO and CTO and led recovery operations following a major incident.
His “second career” as a consultant included extensive international engagements developing innovative approaches to the practice of Business Continuity and helping new practitioners develop.
He is a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute and holds a range of academic and professional qualification including a BA (Social Sciences), an MBA and is a Certified Organizational Resilience Professional by ICOR.
