Scott Mitchell
In high school, Scott was an All-State player in 3 sports, and MVP in Football & Baseball. At the University of Utah, he set 10 WAC & 38 NCAA passing records, was conference player of the year & an all-conference player.
The Miami Dolphins drafted him in 1990. He played in the NFL for 12 years with the Dolphins, Detroit Lions, Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals. He was named AFC/NFC player of the week often, finishing his career with 17,000+ yards passing and 115 touchdown passes.
Scott was inducted into the Nebo School District Sports Hall of Fame, the U of U Crimson Club Hall of Fame and the Utah Sports Hall of Fame. He hosts 2 podcasts with worldwide subscribers, “Helmets Off” and “Rivals”
In 2014, Scott began a transformation on The Biggest Loser where a national audience saw him overcome the challenges of obesity. He authored the book Alive Again where he shares secrets on how to tap into our power to find our true potential.
