Lindsey Kahney

Lindsey Kahney has been with National Runaway Safeline for over 10 years. Joining the organization in 2007 as a call center supervisor, her focus was to provide solution focused crisis intervention for runaway, homeless and at-risk youth and their families. She also assisted school officials and youth services personnel in developing options and finding resources for working with runaway and at-risk youth. She transitioned into the role of Prevention Specialist in 2014 where she now engages and connects with communities while promoting the evidence-based Let’s Talk: Runaway Prevention Curriculum. Lindsey brings a unique perspective from not only working directly with at-risk youth but also focusing on strategies to strengthen youth’s resilience so they are better able to cope with life’s issues as they arise.
