Mike Messina, Biggest Loser At-Home Winner
Mike Messina was the At-Home Winner on NBC’s hit show The Biggest Loser of Season 13.
He was eliminated in the second week, but went home and stayed focused to lose the most weight over 17 other contestants and returned to the show ultimately winning the $100,000 prize. He lost an amazing 160 pounds and 44.69% of his body weight going from 358 lbs. to 198 lbs. in just 6 months.
Due to the obesity related diseases he developed, Mike's life was in serious danger. He realized if he could become healthy again so can anyone with the same desire. His passion for health and fitness has turned into a quest to make a life altering difference for others.
Mike is a Certified Personal Trainer and has earned a certification in Applied Functional Science, from The Gray Institute in Michigan.
