Kabir Sehgal


Kabir Sehgal is an American author, composer, producer, navy officer, military veteran, investment banker, and financial executive. He works in corporate strategy at First Data Corporation, a global payments technology firm, which completed the largest IPO on the New York Stock Exchange in 2015. He is the New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestselling author of five books including A Bucket of Blessings and Coined. He has also won two Grammy Awards and a Latin Grammy Award as a record producer. He was previously a vice president at JPMorgan Chase. He is co-author with Deepak Chopra of a book entitled Home: Where Everyone Is Welcome: Poems & Songs Inspired by American Immigrants. Sehgal is a composer, librettist, and musician who wrote an opera on the European financial crisis. He co-founded an arts non-profit organization that merged with the Afro Latin Jazz Alliance. He received the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
