Rita is start-up business executive with 15+ years of expertise in business development, global expansion, equity & debt fundraising, buy-side & sell-side M&A, finance, business operations and general strategy. She is currently the CEO & Founder of MiaMia Beauty which is a data-driven social platform for sharing beauty looks and purchasing related products. MiaMia launched its first product, an iPhone app in November 2016 and has been called the "Instagram for the beauty-obsessed" by InStyle Magazine. Rita has self-funded the company to date. Previously, she was the VP of Operations & Business Development at RadPad and Preceding RadPad, Rita was VP of Operations at Wittlebee, an e-commerce start-up in children’s clothing and at MySpace, Rita began her career in investment banking and is an angel investor and has invested in Walc, Mile High Run Club (NYC-based running studios) and Broke Girl’s Guide (email newsletter for Millennial women; 10x return in less than 2 years).
