Carl Churchill

On Sept. 11, 2010, Carl Churchill, a combat veteran with 21 years of service as an enlisted soldier and officer, & his wife Lori, opened Alpha Coffee to help military veterans. They wanted a different kind of company guided by the principles they lived by: Awesome Coffee/Get Your Warrior On/Have Fun/Give Back. They honor the sacrifice of those serving in harm's way and send a portion of each batch of coffee they roast to deployed troops. The Coffee for Troops program supports warriors far from home.
Carl came from a family of veterans. He was taught by Airborne Rangers and a Green Beret who challenged him to live up to their standards. As a US Army Soldier, he won an ROTC scholarship, earned his commission, served honorably and retired as a Lt. Colonel. Carl served as Squad Team Leader, Platoon Leader, LRS Company Commander and Detachment Commander. He saw parts of the world others never experience and spent time working in national intelligence and the Special Operations community
