Tracie Stafford began her career in marketing, working her way up from data entry operator to Senior Management for a fortune one hundred company. She opened an event marketing and management firm and became a community leader, chairing boards such as The National Association of Women Business Owners and The Sacramento Small Business Board. She was a board member of The Birthing Project International and The Sacramento Black Chamber of Commerce and was appointed by the Governor to the California Small Business Board. Tracie’s life took on greater meaning when she broke her lifelong silence before the California State Legislature in 2008, disclosing she was a third generation domestic violence victim. She became an advocate for victims of abuse and entered politics to have a stronger impact. She is a Candidate for the Mayor of Elk Grove, California 2018.
