Richard Paul Evans
When Richard Paul Evans wrote The Christmas Box, he never intended to become internationally famous. The story, an expression of love for his daughters, was about parental love and the true meaning of Christmas. It made history when it became the #1 book in the nation.
Six of Evans’s books were made into TV movies starring actors like Richard Thomas, Rob Lowe, Christopher Lloyd and James Earl Jones. He’s written over 30 consecutive bestsellers and is one of the few authors in history to hit both the fiction and non-fiction bestseller lists. There are currently more than 30 million copies of his books in print.
Evans founded The Christmas Box House International devoted to building shelters and providing services for abused/neglected children. More than 90,000 children have been served by Christmas Box House facilities. As a speaker, Evans has shared the podium with notable personalities like President George W. Bush, Ron Howard, Elizabeth Dole, Deepak Chopra and Bob Hope.
