Joanna Popper
Joanna Popper is a Hollywood & Silicon Valley media & marketing executive with experience in TV, Digital, Film & VR/AR. She has extensive experience in TV & Digital Content Development & Marketing & has a passion for VR & creating impactful stories in an innovative & immersive way. Most recently she’s been the EVP of Media & Marketing at Singularity University & VP Marketing at NBCUniversal. Joanna developed a TV show partnership with NBC & Singularity University for “The Awesome Show” a new broadcast TV series on tech & innovation produced by Mark Burnett with host Chris Hardwick & is an EP on the show. She's advising a number of digital media & immersive computing companies focused on gaming, holograms, haptic touch & video engagement as well as developing VR/AR & TV content. She previously held executive roles at McKinsey, DHL, JP Morgan Chase. Joanna went to Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania & Northwestern University.
