Bonnie Rush, RT(R)(M)(QM)
Bonnie Rush, RT(R)(M)(QM), is President of Breast Imaging Specialists (BIS), San Diego, CA. Bonnie is a noted educator, consultant, lecturer, and writer with long-term experience in breast imaging as well as regulatory compliance. For her investment of time and passion to her profession she was acknowledged in radiologic technology national article titled “Working Wonders”. Despite her own proactive approach to increasing viability in mammographic imaging her own breast cancer was not found in 2012. Bonnie then faced the need to reassess her own convictions about the efficacy of mammography – and even of the newest technology digital breast Tomosynthesis. Her focus now is to educate service providers on the need to consider ancillary imaging for those with dense breasts.
