Pati Anderson, LPC
Pati Anderson, MC, LPC has a varied background. She began her work life in aviation, first as a flight instructor and charter pilot during the 1970s, and then as an air traffic controller in the 80s and 90s. After retiring from the FAA, Pati returned to school for her masters in counseling. She worked as a licensed professional counselor for 15 years both at an agency working with the seriously mentally ill and in private practice. She is a registered yoga teacher with advanced training in healing-emphasis yoga. In 2016, Pati made the brave decision to go on hiatus and follow her true passions. She now studies art history, volunteers as a docent at the Phoenix Art Museum, and travels and practices yoga to her heart’s content!
The Phoenix Art Museum, in conjunction with Hospice of the Valley, holds weekly mindfulness meditation sessions and regular “Slow Art and Mindfulness” experiences. http://www.phxart.org/
