Patricia Westergren, BSN, RN
Patricia Westergren, RN BSN is an experienced program manager with over 30 years of diverse experience in medical, business & legal disciplines. She held a wide range of roles within clinical research, with regulatory submissions in the U.S and Europe. She directed Investigator Initiated and Sponsored Research (IISR) programs under Medical Affairs providing grant awards, scientific expertise, and symposium development, as well as interface with key opinion leaders and advisory boards focused on hematopoietic stem cell transplant (HSCT) research. She was also product manager for IISR programs, responsible for global website systems that address the overall IISR lifecycle. Patricia served as board member and officer for the IISRA organization providing guidance/documents to researchers. Her current focus is medical mission efforts in Africa providing clinical patient care. She is active in two main organizations: Light of Hope International in Kenya and Hope Ministries in Tanzania.
