Scott Hutcheson
R. Scott Hutcheson is the Executive Chair of Aspen Properties, a fully integrated, privately held real estate company based in the City of Calgary. Scott and his investment partners, Aspen owns and manages approximately $1B in assets, comprising 2.65M sq. ft. of downtown office space and 2,327 parking stalls in the cities of Calgary and Edmonton. Prior to co-founding Aspen Properties in 1998, he served as President of a real estate partnership in Florida financed by an ivy league university endowment fund. As well as being Executive Chair of Aspen Properties, he is an active member in the community; he is Chair-elect of the Board of Arts Commons, Co-Chair of the Board Winterstart and Chair of WinSport. He earned a Master of Science from Columbia University and Bachelor of Science from University of Utah and holds and ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. He has been named one of Alberta’s 50 most influential people by Alberta Venture Magazine.
