Steve Schwartz
Steve Schwartz developed a passion for photography, wildlife conservation and shooting sports at a young age. He has always been technically inclined and delved deeply into long range rifles and the technology behind them. Through his work first as a professional photographer, and later in technology engineering, he traveled the globe, often in the care of US soldiers, who brought him their weapons, as Steve's customizations and tweaks in the field grew a reputation.
In 2009, Steve started The Rifle Specialist in East Tennessee. The Rifle Specialist is a family business and began as a law enforcement supplier, providing AR type weapons to regional tactical teams and police patrol. Unlike most of the "black rifle" companies which have sprung up recently, The Rifle Specialist sets itself apart by the hand-fitting process and extreme attention to detail, resulting in a more accurate and reliable weapon.
