Angus Taylor
Angus Taylor, CAO of NewLeaf Cannabis, started the company with his partners a year ago with the aim of building a retail cannabis empire across Western Canada, the partners are all entrepreneurs with experience in the retail world. Angus spent much of his career as an innovation & business strategy consultant and renewable energy project developer. Like many joining the “green rush”, Angus started researching and planning for the appropriate timing to promote the business, find partners, and raise capital while still working in Calgary’s energy industry. Angus was born in the UK in Liverpool but has called Alberta home his whole life. Angus is married with two children, 5 and 8, who he is teaching to ski and enjoy winter camping.
