Keith Chamblin


Keith Chamblin serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA). Since joining the NTRA in 1999, Chamblin has conceived, developed and assisted in the implementation of several successful programs including the industry’s first national direct mail promotion to more than one million households, the growth of the world’s richest and most prestigious handicapping tournament—the National Horseplayers Championship (NHC), the Breeders’ Cup program ‘Win and You’re In,’ and an award-winning national advertising campaign that in 2017 was inducted into the Clio Hall of Fame. Prior to joining the NTRA, Chamblin served as vice president of marketing at Hollywood Park Racetrack. From 1988-1994, Chamblin served in various capacities at Remington Park. From 1985-1987, Chamblin was a member of the editorial staff of The Blood-Horse magazine. From 1983-1985, he was managing editor of Spur Magazine. Chamblin is a graduate of Boston University.
